It’s important to allow this time for you body to adjust to the training changes you’ve made over the past 5 weeks. While you might be tempted to continue on with your training, I encourage you to take this rest seriously – you will benefit more in your strength goals and reduce the change of over training and injury.

During this week you will be doing 3 activities:

  1. Slow, steady walking – every day
  2. Restorative Exercises™ – every day

So see, it’s not like you’re doing nothing, but taking a break for the higher intensity strength training that Mama Sport is based in. This is also a great week to schedule a massage, mani-pedi, shopping spree – anything that just gives you some “me time” to unload and relax.
